1TakeJay – ‘H Town’ Music Video
Newly independent 1TakeJay has released a new music video for single “H Town” following the release of his ‘Songs 4 Your Bitch’ mixtape. The visual shows Jay in Houston at the city’s famous Playground nightclub shot by AkaBeto. The single is a standout track from the project, as well as “On My Soul” & “Pick Me.” Jay brings an all around sound through this project, all while continuing to deliver his confident energy & clever bars.

ScHoolboy Q “BLUE LIPS
After 5 years, yes FIVE YEARS! Fans have finally got their hands on new music from ScHoolboy Q! “Blue Lips” contains 17 tracks with features from Rico Nasty, Freddie Gibbs, Ab-Soul & more. The production on this project is AMAZING. From beginning to end Q brings listeners everything we knew he would & then some. Looking forward to what else Q has in store!

Hit-Boy, Big Hit, & Zoe Osama – ‘ALLAT’ Feat. Honcho
Hit-Boy & his dad Big Hit have been on a roll as of late. The father son duo are nothing to mess with & continue to deliver with each release. The latest from the two features South Central’s Zoe Osama & Honcho on ‘Allat.’ The visual opens with Osama & crew close behind in a wood crate yard, but it’s not about the location; it’s about the energy & bars the four deliver. Check out the visual below!

Westside Webb “Player Games, Pt. 3”
If there’s one thing I will always appreciate about a project, it is when it’s mixed to perfection! Well, to my ears anyway. It’s nice to hear something that not only is cohesive in sound, but also to the ear with production & engineering. That is one of the standout factors of Westside Webb’s “Player Games, Pt. 3” album. With 10 tracks that contains features from K2icyy, Polyester the Saint, Jeaux, & Courtney Bell; the project is an effortless listen that brings one down a smooth ride of the West Coast. Highly suggest you take a listen!

Kenyon Dixon “The R&B You Love: Soul Of The ’70s”
If you’re not familiar with the talents of Kenyon Dixon, I highly suggest that you dive into his latest EP for a proper introduction! The singer songwriter has been on my radar for a minute, & if you’re tapped into my playlists then you’ve heard him before. You’re welcome! Dixon is among the handful of artists that I use in my “R&B isn’t dead” arguments & for good reason. His vocals are amazing, his lyrics paint a wonderful picture that listeners can see & feel, all while being delivered over soothing sounds.
In his latest EP “The R&B You Love: Soul Of The ’70s,” he effortlessly embodies a great sense of nostalgia with sweet sounds of the past. If you listened to oldies with your parents growing up (depending on your age), this EP will hit home. His voice glides over the sounds of the EP that plays sonically from start to finish. Check it out below! I promise, if you love R&B, you won’t be disappointed.

Pacman da Gunman “Perfect Timing”
Pacman da Gunman has released a new project titled “Perfect Timing” that contains 8 solid tracks. With his unique voice & his gift to tell a story; Pacman is an artist that will give listeners a sneak peak into his lifestyle & walk alongside with his words. Whether it’s a story of a life lesson, pain, or how to continue the hustle, Pacman will deliver. Tune in below!

Chris O’Bannon “All Strings Attached”
My inner fangirl wouldn’t allow me to pass up putting y’all onto this project from Chris O’Bannon. Yes, I’m aware that this has absolutely nothing to do with ‘NSYNC, however, if you know, you know. LOL In all seriousness though, O’Bannon is one of those hidden gems who has gained plenty of accolades within his career. Within growing his catalog he’s explored different sounds, collaborated with your favorite artist, & has aided in the rise of the music scene in one form or another.
The project contains 10 tracks where long time listeners can hear his growth all around. Snagging the homies Phabo & Steven G, O’Bannon delivers a dope project that has arrived just in time for the warm weather that is to come. Check it out below!

1TakeQuan – “No Emotion”
The latest single from 1TakeQuan show listeners a different side of The Ratchet King we’ve grown to know & love. Although the track is called “No Emotions,” Quan explains to listeners the heartache he went through growing up. Not only did it have him grow up fast, but it also taught him how to maneuver through this life. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Quan song if he revert back to some explicit fun he would have with a woman, even though he makes it a point that he’ll always have his guard up when it comes to love. No Emotion as he states.

ATM Danny – “Slow Jam”
ATM Danny is on his way to another million plays with his lates single “Slow Jam.” He’s most recently gained his popularity through his more upbeat songs such as “I’m On One” & “Goody Two Shoes,’ but this newest single shows his versatility in terms of sound. He delivers in his usual tone, allowing listeners to see a different side of him all while keeping it all the way player. So much so, listeners might miss his bars if they’re not paying attention. “Ima big boy so save me a piece of that cake, cause it taste so sweet, yeah real nonchalant.” And indeed it was. Watch the visual below!

Ohgeesy & Friends – ‘F**k You Freestyle’
Talk about gathering all of Los Angeles! Ohgeesy gathers the homies for his latest freestyle over Dr. Dre’s “F**k You.” Freestyles like these are usually hit or miss for me because it’s hard to differentiate if the song is actually hard, or if the beat brought me so much nostalgia that I think it’s good. I will say that this is something I wasn’t expecting from such a line up of talent. The track opens with Jeeezy Obama of Blue Bucks Clan & the heat continues for a strong 5 minutes. Tune in below as everyone adds their dose of style & sound.
