Dub4Eva100 “Run It Up”
The latest single from Dub4Eva100 “Run It Up” opens wit Dub reflecting on the actions he’s taken to level up within his career. Letting listeners know that staying focused for a few months can boost an individual in more ways than one. With a catchy chorus, Dub speaks on the luxury of spending without a second thought. His unique tone with slight autotune allows listeners to feel the urgency & aggression to continue his passion. Whether it’s music or being successful any which way, Dub will motivate the listener to continue runnin’ it up.
Maxo Kream “No Then You a Hoe”
The title of this single is misleading. When I first seen it, a few different scenarios went through my head. Once you press play though, listeners are taken through the mind of Maxo Kream. He dives head first into a vulnerable state of mind as he recalls phone calls with homies who have passed, hard talks with his father, & how one is thee man until the answer is “no.” Hence the title, press play & take a walk with him. I promise it’s worth it.
Osbe Chill “God Willing”
Osbe Chill is one of those artists who makes me believe that there will always be a gem to be found in the ocean of music over saturation. Osbe reflects on how far he’s come when it comes to his actions & the consequences that would come after. He reminisces & knows that there is more to life as he has examples of the good, the bad, & the ugly around him. Still he choses not to ask for a hand out, God Willing, he’ll always be able to find a way out & if needed, a way in to be who he’s destined to be.
1TakeOcho “Right By You”
This is the perfect example to never stop pushing your music. 1TakeOcho’s “Right By You” was originally released in 2021 on his Ocho III EP, & rereleased on his Undeniable II mixtape (2022) as the plays continued to grow thanks to social media. Now, two years later we have a visual that took to Ocho’s socials so well, a remix might be in the works.. Tap into the visual below!
Khellyb ‘Hear Me Out’
The latest EP from Khellyb is out for listeners to enjoy, and it’s truly a joy to those who hit play. With features from Markky D, McShader, Gully, Hunchoo, & 2G’z; the EP is too short if we’re being real. It starts off with ‘So Long’ that contains a beat that embodies what Los Angeles feel like on a sunny day as one looks for plans. As we skip down to ‘Company,’ he slows it down a little for the ladies letting someone know that he only desires her company, even if it’s just for the moment. Closing it out with ‘It’s All Good,’ he explains how he’s just. moving with the punches that life throws at him, from work to women; it’s all good & everything will fall into place the way it should.
LDN DRGS ‘Affiliated 2’
The greatness that LDN DRGS always brings is that old school feeling that feels so damn LA, that you can’t help but have these tracks on repeat. This project contains 13 tracks with a handful of features such as ALLBLACK, Trae the Truth, Domo Genesis & more. Although the production might take some listeners back, the art of story telling is right now, of the present & taps into the emotions of the artists on the tracks. As the pride for Los Angeles is belt from the bottom of their hearts, Jay Worthy & Sean House are a duo that can do no wrong. Tune in below!
Mani Coolin x Walt Mansa “Love & Hate”
The production that Walt Mansa has been able to create since coming onto the scene is epic. It embodies Los Angeles with such heart that whoever lays their verses down exudes a type of emotion that listeners can truly feel. For example, on “Love & Hate” with Mani Coolin, the pride that Coolin’ carries himself with is heard but also felt with caution as he continues to hustle. Although he’s proud of his success, he knows there’s still a long road ahead of him. It’s a game of love & hate with the journey to success, he’s willing to continue on the path though. A reflection of what greatness & sacrifice that comes with it. Listen below!
MAR1ASOL “what u doing?”
When it comes to a unique voice in music, I latch on & hold on for as long as I can. That is what MAR1ASOL does with the vocals she’s been blessed with & I had to put y’all on. On “what u doing?” she takes listeners through a story of how a routine can create a high when it comes from someone special. We won’t even realize that’s happening until it’s too late & then the questions begin to arise. Allow her to explain it in her own words & vocals below!
