Calum Hood Releases Debut Single “Don’t Forget You Love Me” Ahead of Debut Solo Album

Calum Hood has been causing quite the ruckus among fans via social media as of late & of course, we should have all known it was within good reason. From becoming active on TikTok, posting a tarot card reading, & even the humor of him being the “unemployed” bandmember of 5 Seconds of Summer by fans & outlets alike (he is fully employed, see here), Hood had an announcement up his sleeve & didn’t disappoint.

Calum Hood is set to release his debut solo album “ORDER chaos ORDER” on June 13th via Capitol Records. Taking a step into himself outside of 5 Seconds of Summer for a second has allowed Hood to dive into his personal creative journey, as the album is said to explore his emotions & creative process.

Calum says, “This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing. I started out with a vision—order—but quickly became overwhelmed by the process—chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record.”

Today, Hood gifted fans his debut solo single & visual, “Don’t Forget You Love Me” which you can stream here & watch here. 

“ORDER chaos ORDER” is set to be an introspective look into the mind of Calum Hood, he explains, “There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band—my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me. This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.”
