If you’re an Olivia Rodrigo fan, then the infamous wall that sits at the corner of Melrose Ave & Sycamore in Los Angeles has been on your timeline causing a ruckus.
It’s been about a week or so since the wall became a topic of discussion, and turns out there’s a few other things being painted in parts of the world as well.
It all began when the wall was painted purple, but not just any color purple, THEE purple. Thee purple that is so brand, so niche, that everyone who is in the know immediately knew it was attached to the one and only Olivia Rodrigo. As the day went on, a new version of her logo appeared confirming that it was indeed linked to her. By the day, literally by the day, the color of the wall continued getting lighter and lighter… and so did everything else.
From the lock that sits in London, the mural in Sydney, Australia, to her website, and even her fit to the Oscars afterparty; everything is turning pink.
With a font change, updated logo & website, fans are in a frenzy. Questioning what other changes are ahead.
How long until a single is released? Does the album have a name? So many questions, and all we have for now is a wall that as of Saturday (at 5:10pm) is light pink with the word “love” painted on it.
This isn’t the only thing fans are keeping their eye on either. There’s been an update on her hotline where a horoscope reading tells listeners to take only what resonates. Olivia’s British Vogue magazine has an entire pink page with the word love printed on it. The locket in London has “April” written on it.. There’s just a lot going on for OR fans at the moment.
Fans have been visiting the location to take photos & witness the wall before it changes again. Some fans that live nearby are sharing daily updates on socials to keep everyone in the know. And although it has been confirmed from the painter that it will continue to change color, there is no update on how long this will go for. However, it has been brought to our attention that as long as the lift is in the lot of the walls location, the color is sure to be changing.
Although I won’t be able to visit the wall daily to see the change & personally update you, I will be sharing videos from other content creators who are.
